About Our Program
The focus of the The DCNP AND CAQ-DERM Review Course is on common and complex dermatology. The 2-day program concentrates on the review of the diagnosis and therapeutic management for skin diseases, including the newest pharmacotherapeutics. In addition to preparing dermatology NPs and PAs for certification, the goal is to enhance their ability to synthesize and integrate new knowledge to formulate management approaches for patient care, as well as increase their confidence in prescribing pharmacotherapies.
Course content has been especially enhanced in the areas of pharmacotherapeutics, immunology, and genetics, so clinicians can acquire the knowledge and confidence to prescribe dermatologic medications safely and effectively.
Who Should Attend
- Dermatology NPs and PAs preparing for DCNP and CAQ-Derm certificate examinations.
- Dermatology NPs and PAs already DCNP & CAQ-Derm certified who would like continuing education, including pharmacology hours.
- Dermatology NPs and PAs who already have DCNP & CAQ-Derm credentials and need specific continuing education for recertification.
- NP and PA students in Master’s programs and preparing for specialization in dermatology.
